How do you believe in something you don’t understand? How do you believe in something that goes against our rational logic? Questions like this express the wall of incommunicability that separates people who profess a belief in God from those who declare they base their own beliefs solely and exclusively on the use of reason, i.e. on what is experimentally verifiable.
The author, on the basis of his competence as a neuroscience researcher, but also as a reader of the Bible, collects the sda presenting to us the plot of a relational faith: an adventure of existence that intertwines mind and heart, rational logic and relational logic.
Nicola Berretta is responsible for an evangelical church in Rome (Borgata Finocchio). He graduated in Biological Sciences and has a PhD in Basic Neuroscience. He works as Research Manager at the Fondazione Santa Lucia IRCCS in Rome.
